I've decided that you need to be the one doing the modeling in this class instead of me, those pictures are great. I especially like the one of Gary, maybe I should dress up like a man or something. Which is funny, because I am dressing up like a man today! We're doing a crazy video for our Pastor's 60th birthday. We're "roasting" him Sunday night and the staff is making a video for him and I am playing the part of Pastor Carney! Anyway, back to your pictures. I like the profile one of you and the last one too. You've inspired me to go hat shopping in an antique shop. You're so brave to even put those on your head! HA! Thanks for the ideas and my own personal blog, make that 2 personal blogs. I feel so special!
Some poor bird got killed for that hat! If I owned that hat I would wear it around Thanksgiving time. One time I went to a party in Tennessee at an antique/tea house. It was a tea party. Every lady got to pick an antique hat and a stole to wear during the party. We had a blast! I have thought about buying a bunch of hats like that and hosting those kind of tea parties at my house. It would be fun, but I don't decorate to go along with something like that!
last week was the first week of the portrait class. i decided on more of a rock star look from my friend who used to be in a christian band. it went over well with the artists and teacher. 3 more weeks of my hand turning numb and cramping, but it is cool to see the process of their paintings. i'll post pictures when i get some.
I am a woman seeking to be drawn deeper into the plans God has in store for me. I am a mom who delights in all the good God has brought into the lives of my children. I am a woman delighting in the love of her husband. And, as you can guess, I am rejoicing in the great life God has given to me.

You look so beautiful in those pics!!
Joyce, I wish I could wear hats as good as you. My favorite is the brown one (2nd and 3rd from the bottom).
