Goat Meat! Monterrey Log 4

Our good friend, Jose Pacheco, told us before we left that if we are going to be in Monterrey we must try some goat meat. They are famous for that!
Gary and I had a date last night and went to a restaurant called The King of the Baby Goat.

It was a beautiful restaurant! I will probably load those pictures along with many others on webshots in due time. The baby goat meat is delicious.
We are really throwing our money around here! :?)

mmm...cabrito de Monterrey! It's been a while since I've had some. For those of you who have never tried cabrito (goat meat), it is sooo good! It's a specialty from the northern part of Mexico and especially in Monterrey. I'm glad you and Gary got to go to this neat city and experience it. This is where I was born! I tend to think that it's the most 'americanized' city in Mexico. There are also awesome Nazarene churches in Monterrey. Thanks for sharing pictures & telling us about your trip! Wendy Merrell

mmmmmmm, goat meat!

Sounds like you're having fun times (scary, but fun...) out galavanting in a new country. Is this a vacation? If so, who are these strange men you keep picking up? hmmmmm?

LOL!!!! It was a business trip for Gary and a "tag along" trip for me!!!!!! These are all men that are a part of the project Gary is working on. Yep! I was the only lady with all these men!!!!!
